The site is organised and operated by The Tinco Project – a team of voluntary individuals who take an active interest in discovering, documenting and understanding the life and work of Tinco Martinus Lycklama à Nijeholt.
The objective of The Tinco Project is to pull together the disparate traces and sources that exist about Tinco in places such as Cannes, Beetsterzwaag, or any other place in the world. Ultimately, the project will evolve into a global knowledge center about Tinco and his contemporary world.
We invite interested individuals and institutions to participate and join this project. All contributions will be appropriately acknowledged.
The Tinco Project is run from Amsterdam (NL) and Cannes (F) and coordinated by:
- Hans Zijlstra. Researcher and publisher on Frisian genealogy, arts, and regional and maritime history. Online marketing-expert.
- George Homs. Researcher on 17th century migration streams and Low Countries genealogy. Founder of a “collective memory” start-up (stealth mode).
